Why choose an overnight stay?

Most day visitors only spend four or five hours at Cradle Mountain before returning to Hobart.

Staying overnight gives you time to slow down and experience one of Australia's most spectacular national parks. Watch the changing light over Dove Lake, enjoy sunrise or sunset, spot wombats grazing near your accommodation and complete longer walks without rushing back to the bus.

Whether you're planning a relaxing escape, a photography trip or several days of hiking, this is the easiest way to visit Cradle Mountain without driving.
