Why choose an overnight stay?
Most day visitors only spend four or five hours at Cradle Mountain before returning to Hobart.
Staying overnight gives you time to slow down and experience one of Australia's most spectacular national parks. Watch the changing light over Dove Lake, enjoy sunrise or sunset, spot wombats grazing near your accommodation and complete longer walks without rushing back to the bus.
Whether you're planning a relaxing escape, a photography trip or several days of hiking, this is the easiest way to visit Cradle Mountain without driving.
Your itinerary:
Day One
We'll collect you from selected Hobart accommodation from 5:45am.
Relax as we travel through Tasmania's beautiful Central Highlands before arriving at the Cradle Mountain Visitor Centre at approximately 10:00am.
From here your adventure begins.
Check into your accommodation, catch the National Park shuttle bus and spend the rest of the day exploring.
We'll collect you from the Cradle Mountain Visitor Centre at 12:15pm for the comfortable drive back to Hobart.
Staying longer?
No problem.
Simply book extra nights and we'll arrange your return transfer on a later departure.
