We'll collect you from selected Hobart accommodation at 5:45am and arrive at Cradle Mountain around 10:00am, giving you the rest of the day to settle in and start exploring. You simply book your own accommodation and stay for one or more nights, depending on how much time you'd like to spend in the park.

Once you arrive, it's easy to explore using the National Park shuttle buses, which are included with your National Park entry fee. Wander around the spectacular Dove Lake, visit the historic Waldheim Chalet, choose from a range of walking tracks, or simply relax and enjoy the alpine scenery while watching for wombats, pademelons and other native wildlife. If you'd like a guided experience, you can also book the optional Parks Explorer Tour, a ranger-led tour that operates from 10:30am to 2:30pm and provides fascinating insights into the park's unique flora, fauna and geology.

When it's time to leave, we'll collect you from Cradle Mountain at 12:15pm and take you back to Hobart, so there's no need to worry about driving or public transport.

If you'd like to experience both Cradle Mountain and Launceston, this is a great way to see two of Tasmania's highlights in a relaxed two-day trip. We'll collect you from selected Hobart accommodation in the morning and take you to Cradle Mountain, arriving around 10:00am. You'll then have approximately 4½ hours to explore at your own pace before departing Cradle Mountain with eGuide at 2:30pm and continuing to Launceston, where you'll stay overnight.

While you're at Cradle Mountain, you can wander around Dove Lake, visit the historic Waldheim Chalet, choose from a range of walking tracks, or simply relax and enjoy the alpine scenery while watching for wombats, pademelons and other native wildlife. Getting around the park is easy using the National Park shuttle buses, which are included with your National Park entry fee. After arriving in Launceston, you'll have the evening to enjoy the city's cafés, restaurants and attractions, such as Cataract Gorge or City Park, before spending the night in accommodation of your choice. Our private Cradle Mountain day tour is $1,100 for up to 3 guests or $1,300 for up to 10 guests, with National Park entry fees included. We'll collect you from your Hobart accommodation at 6:00am before travelling through Tasmania's spectacular Central Highlands, passing Great Lake and stopping in the charming town of Deloraine, where there's time to purchase breakfast and coffee before continuing to Cradle Mountain.

Arriving at around 10:00am, you'll have approximately 4½ hours to explore one of Tasmania's most spectacular World Heritage destinations. Because this is your own private tour, the day can be tailored to your interests. Wander around the iconic Dove Lake, visit the historic Waldheim Chalet, choose from a range of walking tracks, or simply relax and enjoy the alpine scenery while watching for wombats and other native wildlife. Your guide is always on hand to recommend the best walks, photo locations and places to visit.

If you'd like a guided park experience, you can also join the optional Parks Explorer Tour, a ranger-guided experience operating from 10:30am to 2:30pm that explores the park's unique flora, fauna and geology.

On the return journey, we travel via the Midland Highway through Tasmania's picturesque farming country, stopping in the historic town of Campbell Town before arriving back at your Hobart accommodation at around 7:00pm.
